I wish someone would regulate the time for banks to respond on short sales; by the time the buyer gets an acceptance or a denial, they may have moved on to another house and we have wasted significant time. If they wait as I am on one for almost two months and what if they don't get it - start all over again. It doesn't seem fair - they should know up front what they are going to accept and accept it. Another one is waiting to see if the seller will even be approved for a short sale; it is not fair to the buyer to have to wait.
